Most indigenous people did survive the disastrous flood, but today they are threatened by their complete destruction. The reason for that is that the huge flood destroyed their boats in many places. Traditionally, the sea nomads used to live on and fish from the boats for several months per year. Therefore, the destruction of the boats makes them not only lose their source of income, but also their identity.
