Human rights organization outraged: “Shame on you!”

“The AfD’s contributions in the Bundestag debate today on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Srebrenica genocide 30 years ago are a slap in the face to the survivors and descendants. Shame on you! Your party denies genocide and violence, distorts history, and thereby supports the nationalist forces in Serbia,” criticized Jasna Causevic, expert on genocide prevention and the Responsibility to Protect, on the occasion of the memorial event in Berlin. “Today is a day of remembrance, of reflection. Mothers visit the graves of their sons, daughters remember their fathers. With your statements, you are insulting the memory of this horrific crime,” stated the human rights activist, who is from the region herself.
