The Society for Threatened Peoples (STP) would like to promote transparency. Therefore, we have joined the Initiative Transparent Civil Society (ITZ) and make the following ten pieces of information available to the public and keep them up to date.


1. Name, Location, Address and Year of Foundation

The organisation bears the name "Society for Threatened Peoples", abbreviated to "STP". It is entered in the Register of Associations at Göttingen Local Court under No. VR 1804.

The association has its seat in Geiststraße 7, 37073 Göttingen. The association was founded on 02.07.1968.

3. Information on the tax benefit

The Society for Threatened Peoples (Gesellschaft für bedrohte Völker e.V.) is, according to the last exemption notice we received from the Göttingen tax office (tax number 20/206/01189) dated March 5, 2019 (assessment period 2015 to 2017), exempt from both corporate income tax under Section 5 (1) No. 9 of the Corporate Income Tax Act and trade tax under Section 3 No. 6 of the Trade Tax Act.

Information on all income, presented as part of the annually prepared income/expense or profit and loss statement, broken down by funds from the non-material sphere (e.g. donations, membership and sponsorship contributions), public grants, income from commercial business operations, special-purpose operations and/or asset management can be found in our annual report ("Management and finances", page 55/56).


8. Appropriation of funds

Information on the use of all income, presented as part of the annually prepared statement of income and expenses or income statement and statement of financial position or balance sheet can be found in our annual report ("Management and finances", page 56/57).


9. Corporate legal relationship with third parties

Here you will find information on the corporate affiliations with third parties as well as memberships of the Society for Threatened Peoples e.V. with other associations and organizations.


10. Names of legal entities whose annual payments exceed 10% of the total annual budget

There are no legal entities whose annual payments account for more than 10 percent of the total annual budget. Information on annual payments and finances in general can also be found in our annual report ("Management and finances," page 55/56).
