Talk about Ilham Tohti

The French sinologist and human rights defender Marie Holzman talks about the Uyghur economics professor Ilham Tohti. Tohti was sentenced to life in prison in China in 2014 for alleged "seperatism", a bogus claim since he actually was a tireless advocate of a better mutual understanding between the Uyghurs and the Han Chinese. Tohti was always committed to further a dialogue and understanding between the Uyghurs and the Han Chinese. Accusing him of inciting separatism is an absurd defamation of his life's work. The allegations against him are absurd – and the so-called "evidence" is implausible.
