„We were neighbors – why are you doing this to us?“ During an interview, the Assyrian Christian woman tries to regain her composure. In early July, she was expelled from the Iraqi city of Mosul by the terrorist group „Islamic State“ (IS).
There is no end to the horrible news from the Middle East. It is especially the ethnic and religious minorities that are in acute danger. This is why we will take a stand against extremism and for diversity in the Middle East with this year’s Christmas-Campaign on December 16, throughout Germany. We would like to invite you to help us.
Get involved with only a few clicks!
Sign our online-petition to help the endangered minorities in Iraq and Syria and share it with your friends and acquaintances. Become part of the Thunderclap-campaign, with which we would like to use the social networks to take a stand for diversity in the Middle East.
Take to the streets – we’ll do the rest!
Organize a chain of lights or an information stand in your hometown for December 16! Inform radio stations, newspapers and other local media about the event. Talk to members of your club or your community, organize a prayer service, a bake sale or a human chain – and we will provide you with a free set of information materials and posters. All you need is a candle and a little spare time!
Please note that public meetings and information stands need to be approved by the local authorities. We will be happy to provide you with comprehensive assistance to announce and organize your campaign.
We have free information materials ready for you:
Shortly, you will be able to view and download the contents of our set of information materials.
