– including contributions of representatives of the Inuit,
„Chukchi” and „Itelmen”: Larisa Abryutina and
Tjan Zaotschnaja on the threat against the Arctic people
by oil production and gas gathering, the militarization of
Alaska’s privatisation of the Siberian forests and the
destruction of nature in Northern Europe
– featuring short presentations by GfbV and other
experts on the responsibilities of German cooperations
like Ruhrgas (Essen) and Wintershall (Kassel)
– presenting reports and pictures of GfbV’s work for indigenous societies against exploitation of their territory, the GfbV-project „fish men-boats for the Itelmen”, the GfbV-lobbying for its movements and even its initiatives concerning the ratification of the internationally unique convention on the protection of the Indigenous – the ILO Convention 169.
